The Model M is not dead!

It seems that the good folks at Unicomp are still making proper buckling-spring keyboards, now even with a USB connector. Phew! I was worried that I'd be forced to move away from my nice clicky Model M at some point soon, as PCs are slowly losing PS/2 ports.

You might want to have a look at Das Keyboard (http://www.daskeyboard.com/) which has Cherry mechanical switches and is as clicky as your old Model M. Typing on it is pure pleasure.

I was rather excited by this too and bought two of these a few years ago - both stopped working within a year.
