It seems several of us were bitten by the sauna bug when we went to Debconf in Helsinki. Nattie fell in love with the idea of "nekkid geeks" and now Joey is saying he wants to build a sauna. He's not alone - I've been considering building one in the back garden at my place, too... :-)

Im a Canadian of Finnish descent. My father has a fantastic sauna by the shore of a spring-fed lake. I also don't get out there often enough... Can't let daily distractions take away from the number of sauna's we get to have!! We only live once, and we have to make time for the GOOD things!! Like a steamy-hot sauna! Reply |

I got bitten by the same bug some time ago, the only problem was, although it it was great for my skin I found it was terrible for my hair leaving it all frizzy and dry. I sometimes wear a shower cap now, which seems to help a bit. Reply |

That may work for you Charlotte, but with my experience I have found that a cap of any sorts can give you a mighty big headache. I remember sitting with my baseball cap on one day and after a short while it felt like my head was going to burst. I havent tried it again since. Reply |
